Six women are appointed to senior vice-president (SVP) positions at Cognizant. These appointments blend promotions and new hires, signal a transformation in the company’s leadership under CEO Ravi Kumar S.

In addition to concentrating on three major imperatives: make the company an employer of choice in the IT services firm market, accelerate revenue development, and improve operational discipline, one of Kumar’s top focuses has been to increase Cognizant’s varied talent, including in leadership roles.

Elisa de Rocca-Serra, associated with Cognizant since 2021, is elevated as SVP, EMEA General Counsel and Contract Lifecycle Risk Management (CLRM). She is in charge of managing commercial risks across the client contract lifecycle to improve operational and financial outcomes.

Thea Hayden is SVP of Global Marketing at Cognizant since 2020. The Cognizant brand, design and creative services, social media, thought leadership, and research are some of her responsibilities.

Patricia (Trish) Hunter-Dennehy was appointed SVP, Healthcare Provider/Payor Business Unit. Her group assists the US healthcare system’s overall management, including healthcare delivery. Trish joined in 2015 as a result of the purchase of TriZetto.

Sailaja Josyula, who joined Cognizant in 2018, has been promoted to the position of SVP, Intuitive Operations & Automation (IOA) for the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) division for the commercial markets in North America as well as global delivery. She also oversees Hyderabad, Cognizant’s second-largest delivery hub after Chennai, employing over 56,000 people.

On July 5, Archana Ramanakumar returned to Cognizant as SVP, Industry Solutions Group (ISG). In the past, Archana worked with LTI and LTI Mindtree.

On July 17, Sandra Natardonato started working for Cognizant as SVP, Partnerships & Alliances. Natardonato formerly worked as a senior equities analyst for 11 years at several professional services businesses and 15 years at Gartner.
