Rabat: To increase the number of female entrepreneurs, especially in the Moroccan diaspora, the Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), the AFD Group, and the European Union have formed a strategic partnership.

The three organizations held a session on Tuesday at the CGEM offices in Casablanca with the title “MEET Her: Entrepreneurial Flight of Moroccan Women Worldwide” as part of the MEET Africa 2 program.

The workshop’s three main themes and panelists were designed to showcase the aspirations of women entrepreneurs: “Inform: Enlightened women entrepreneurs – navigating the entrepreneurial ecosystem,” “Connect: Networks and success relays for entrepreneurs,” and “Finance: Pathways to financing – a prosperous future for women entrepreneurs.”

In order to better integrate the needs and views of women entrepreneurs from the diaspora, panelists discussed diagnosis and theories during the talks.

The occasion gave Moroccan financial institutions and prospects for funding women-led initiatives a stage on which to present their offerings.

The program also emphasized how vital it is for entrepreneurs, both local and diasporic, to improve networking in order to develop their abilities, open up new markets, and forge trustworthy relationships in the dual Africa-Europe arena.

At the MEET Her event, which drew a crowd of over a hundred people and included representatives from about twenty national and international institutions, three successful narratives of female entrepreneurs were presented.

The business executives discussed their experiences as entrepreneurs, covering everything from launching businesses in Morocco to developing products and services, raising capital, and growing their companies.

“MEET Her in Morocco embodies our goal to establish the nation as a key partner of Moroccan entrepreneurs in the diaspora,” stated Mrs. Fatima Boussalla, Vice-President of the Moroccan businesses of the World (MeM) area by CGEM.

“We are excited to work with Meet Africa 2 through CGEM’s 13th region, which is dedicated to Moroccan Entrepreneurs and High Potentials worldwide,” the spokesperson said.
