A Collaborative Effort for Transformation
Central to this endeavor is a partnership that harmonizes international backing with local perspectives. The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation (BEDC), and the Ministry of Youth, Social Development, and Seniors have united under the guidance of expert Carlos Cesar Yammal. Their objective is crystal clear: to conduct a ‘Needs Assessment on Financial Instruments for Women-owned MSMEs’. This survey transcends mere questioning; it represents a ray of hope for women who have long traversed the challenging terrain of entrepreneurship, often lacking the requisite support.
The survey, accessible on mobile devices, ensures confidentiality and aims to compile data that will facilitate the development of financial products customized for women-led MSMEs.
